Reviews

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, cottage was lovely and warm with the added advantage of having a log burner. The area is so peaceful and views are fantastic which made our stay very relaxing. There are plenty of places to visit with in reasonable distance. We would love to stay again in the future, maybe the summer time to enjoy the potential great walks in the area and the views in the sunshine.

Mr E,

Love holiday home set in the Yorkshire moors with the most beautiful views. Surrounded by countryside and farm animals, and very peaceful. Whitby is just about 20 minutes drive where you can get everything you need, and is a great place to explore too. Is a great place for exploring the Yorkshire moors and surrounding areas. Comfy and clean and dog friendly too.

Mrs W,

detail mentioned an ironing board but that was not at property but there was an iron Found the cottage ideal for our stay and very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 dogs and the enclosed garden was a great asset the surroundings are beautiful.

Mrs Christine L,

Overall the property was lovely. No real issues only a few areas of furnishing shiwing their age

Mr Anthony B,

We loved the location of the cottage, the valley is beautiful, peaceful with wildlife to see. The garden is an afternoon sun trap, it was nice to sit out and listen to the birds. The kitchen was lacking a few items, such as a potato peeler, pizza cutter, decent knives and a large colander. We hope to return to the area again, a week wasn't enough to see everything in the area.

Mrs Mary P,

Very comfortable cottage, ideal for 2 people but really too small for more. Great location.

Mr Stuart C,

The cottage had everything you would need for a weeks stay. The area was quite remote but only a short distance from everything you need. The area is quite hilly but the views are fantastic and everyone was very friendly
