Description

Fair Winds is a delightful two bedroomed bungalow with gardens to the front and back, both lawned. Includes on street parking for 1 car and private off street parking on driveway for 1 car. It is situated in the charming fishing village of Staithes, on the beautiful Yorkshire coast, between the popular seaside towns of Whitby and Saltburn. This lovely house is very spacious and homely with large living areas, wooden floors and underfloor heating throughout. The lounge/dining room has a very high ceiling, with Scandinavian style wooden paneling and spotlights, and there is a similarly styled wood burning stove, which creates Fair Wind’s unique character. The adjoining kitchen has lots of storage and is well equipped. The second hallway takes you to the bedrooms, good size family bathroom and the conservatory with the pleasant view towards the back garden. The property being single level is particularly suited to people who struggle with stairs and parents concerned with children's safety using stairs.

The village of Staithes is famous for its beauty and charm, it is popular with photographers and painters and features in many photos and artwork of the area. Reviews

Excellent property. Close to the village down a steep hill.

Miss H,

We were very happy and relaxed in Fair Winds and felt home straight away. The property is situated in a very quiet area and it is only a short stroll down to the lovely old village. Everything was very clean, the house very complete and the little garden was a plus after a day away. We had our breakfast every morning in the sunny conservatory, which also was very pleasant.

Mrs Bot-van S,

Very pleased with the property and cleaning, only downside, no keys to open windows.

Mr Frank J,

This was our second stay at Fair Winds. We had another lovely time. Just a short walk down the hill to the seafront at Staithes, it is in a great location. We were there at Easter, and there were lots of nice Easter treats waiting for us when we arrived. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the egg! Everything was spotless when we arrived, and lovely and warm too. Thanks again for a lovely break.

Mr G,
