Reviews

Fab cottage, great location for the railway & for walks. Lovely owners who decorated for Christmas for us. So kind! :) Well equipped with everything i needed to cook a Christmas dinner for 4!

Mrs C,

Excellent location for walks to discover the moors.

Mr B,

A lovely, comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. Everything was as outlined on your website and the instructions and information folders in the cottage were very detailed. A very enjoyable break.

Mrs Lorna T,

Hollis Cottage was delightful. It was exactly as described and was a perfect base from which to explore the area.

Ms Janet W,

All would have been 5 but our bed and settee was very uncomfortable and made sleeping difficult. Other than that the whole holiday and cottage was wonderful

Mrs Nancy V,

We have had a lovely stay at Hollins Cottage. Great local area, attractions and great property. Hope to return to Grosmont very soon. Thank you very much.

Past Customer,

Great holiday cottage has everything, good local walks and train ride, our grandson loved them. Wood burner topped the holiday off. Thanks very much

Past Customer,

This is a great location for people with many interests - walking, steam trains, shopping in lovely small market towns, seaside scenery etc. Never short of things to do and eating out is a joy. Our second stay here and it's a very reasonable price in comparison to many others in this area. Thank you owners for providing lovely accommodation.

Past Customer,

We were thrilled that the cottage was warm and decorated for Christmas. It was so thoughtful to have teabag's and milk, so welcoming (and logs). We appreciated all those things. We loved our walk on Runswick Bay and our visit to Castle Howard which is spectacular. The views even from the cottage are amazing. We had a wonderful week. Thank you.

Past Customer,

A lovely cottage in a great location 5th April 2019
