Reviews

The property is well equipped and clean

Dr W,

Ideal location for exploring the North Yorkshire coast and National Park. Peaceful and quiet location.

Mrs R,

A very comfortable and cosy cottage. The quality of fixtures was of a high standard and immaculately presented. Property was in quiet rural location but within walking distance to bus route if you want to leave the car at home. We had a lovely relaxing break

Ms C,

The property exceeded our expectations. It was clean , comfortable and well equipped. Host was pleasant to talk to and provided useful information about the area. Would not hesitate to return.

Mr H,

Beautiful cottage, fully furnished and equipped. Was made welcome from the lady in the main house from the get go. We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years, and this was by far the best.

Mr E,

The property was fantastic-the cooking facilities were of a high quality; the location was perfect for us. Everything was spotless and we would definitely stay again.

Miss B,

The property was like home from home everything you needed and all very good quality. Parking is very good, and the area is very peaceful.

Mr F,

Lovely cottage in an idyllic setting.

Mr I,

these questions do not give the opportunity to expand on any of the issues that may have arisen during our stay, therefore it's difficult to give a clear and accurate score. there is no wifi (not a major problem, but would help with booking of trips) there are some issues with the wiring of the cottage, lights go and trip the circuit breaker (this happened one evening) there is a light switch(not a pull cord)in the toilet downstairs(check wiring regulations BS7671!!)

Mr Martin D,

Excellent property. Lovely setting. Very cosy. Boiler was a bit challenging but we got there. Excellent pub in Lythe.

Mrs Judith T,

The property was super, very clean excellent equipment and quiet and peaceful. Our neighbour Sue was lovely, enjoyed a chat but never intruded and she was helpful in recommending places to see etc. We would certainly go back as the area is well worth more visits. Bus stop at the top of the road was very handy too, nice not to have to use the car.

Mrs Carole W,

The cottage is lovely and quiet, not to far from local villages. Also some lovely walks direct from cottage.

Mrs Penny R,

Kitchen equipment poor quality . Main gripe is no wi fi and the description said phone signal was good, it was not, had to stand by an upstairs window to get a signal. We would not stay here again until wifi was installed. This was mentioned by several other visitors in the guest book !!

Mr Mark H,

Lovely cottage in quiet location. Well equipped kitchen if wanting to cook whilst on holiday. Good central location for going inland onto the moors , further north to coastal villages and south to villages and Scarborough. Lovely welcome pack from the owner of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and sugar. Clear instructions in cottage manual for operating electrical equipment and heating. Very clean. We would happily stay again. Heard the owls on a couple of nights whilst there.
