Description

Hudson House is a modern and contemporary property which is the perfect choice for a family holiday in the picturesque town of Whitby. Just a short walk down to Whitby’s West Cliff and beach, a pub and local shops. The town centre is also within 15 minutes walking distance and the charming seaside village of Sandsend is just a short drive away. This delightful house has been furnished to a high standard with fresh décor and modern facilities. A lovely spacious garden with patio provides the perfect place to relax and the property benefits from private car parking.

Modern unassuming property in a quiet location yet close to town centre. Exceptionally well equipped and thought out, for small family or two couples. Beds firm but comfortable. Welcoming text message from owner on our arrival, followed by personal visit from them to put the bins out for collection just before our departure. Oodles of leaflets for places to visit, as you would expect, plus parking discs for use in zoned areas of town. Early departure time not a problem as there are several places offering breakfast from 9:30. Highly recommend Sanders Yard bistro. Borrowed parking discs while out for breakfast, then made short detour to return them through letter box before leaving for home. Restful and relaxing long weekend, despite winds and showers.

Excellent property, modern, well equipped and very clean. A good 15 minute walk to the main part of Whitby, but there is a Lidl supermarket much nearer. It’s in a nice quiet area with good off street parking for one car. The owner is very engaged and popped round on the second day to check all was okay. Happy to recommend.

A modern property with parking. Very comfortable. Our host was very pleasant - the personal call being very nice and appreciated. We visit Whitby regularly and the only downside was the distance from the town centre. We like to stroll round after our evening meal when it is quiet and the day visitors have gone home. However having said that somebody fitter would have no trouble in walking in to the town.

We've had a fantastic Easter break walking with our dog and 2 teenage boys. We've been lucky with the weather and would definitely recommend Hudson House as the perfect base. It has everything you need for your stay. Perfectly clean and modern on a new estate. We would definitely recommend it and come back again- 19th April 2019
