Egret's Landing

Egret's Landing offers comfortable accommodation for families and friends on holiday in Whitby. The cottage is located a short level walk to Whitby's old town, the swing bridge and the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. There is a good assortment of toys and games to keep the youngsters entertained and bench seating in the shared garden where you can relax outside. With one dog allowed this is a good holiday property for all the family.

Entrance to the property via 12 steps and through a  gate.
Entrance: Front door leading into a small hallway.
Lounge / Diner: Beamed ceiling and gas coal effect fire with wooden fire surround. There are two four seater settees and a chair, and a smart TV with Freeview and DVD player. Built-in wooden bookcase with a selection of books and a wooden side board. Coffee table and occasional table with a lamp. Dining table and chairs.
Kitchen: 5 burner gas hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, washer dryer, fridge, freezer.
Family Bathroom: Bath, shower over bath, toilet and washbasin. Storage shelves.

LOWER GROUND FLOOR
Shower Room: Shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin with storage.
Bedroom 1: Double bed, built-in wardrobe. Clock radio. Door leading to shared patio area.
Bedroom 2: Full-size bunk beds, canvas wardrobe and storage.
Please note bedroom 2 can only be accessed via bedroom 1.

Steep stairs up to:
FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 3: Three single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and lamps and a wicker chair.
Bedroom 4: Double bed, small built in hanging area, pine unit with a drawer, 2 chairs.

Pets: One dog allowed.
Parking: Free parking is available on a first come, first served basis across the road on Church Street as far as the Fleece Pub. Scratchcards will be provided for "W" zoned on street parking which is also on a first come, first served basis. "W" zones can be found over the swing bridge on the West Cliff side of Whitby.
Heating: Gas central heating.
Garden: Shared garden in front of the house up the steps.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Although there are more beds, this property is only suitable for up to 6 people. Towels are provided. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable. Travel cot, high chair and stairgate are available upon request.

Please note: rope bannister (between lower ground and ground floor) and steep cottage staircase (between ground floor and first floor) may not be suitable for less mobile guests
