This 2nd floor apartment is well equipped and offers spacious accommodation comprising of two bedrooms a modern bathroom and a lounge, kitchen and diner in open plan design.  All of the rooms are on one level and the apartment can be reached by a lift or via a staircase. Ideally positioned on the West Cliff area close to the promenade and the beach, it is only a 5 minute stroll away from the town centre and all that Whitby has to offer; restaurants, bistros, shops pubs and cafes. Ideal for a romantic getaway and a central base to explore the surrounding coastline and villages.

Whitby
Whitby is a popular choice for visitors all year round. It is well known for its long sandy beach and delicious seafood. For a different day out, why not climb the famous 199 steps to reach the ruins of Whitby Abbey. It's said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stokers Count Dracula, and its gothic splendour is the perfect place from which to take in some truly stunning views over the town.

Whitby harbour is steeped in history and visitors can see where British explorer Captain James Cook first worked as an apprentice before setting sail and discovering Australia. The harbour is a buzz of activity and you can enjoy early mornings watching the fishing boats come ashore before getting first choice of their catch. There's always something happening throughout the town, and festivals and fairs are held throughout the year including Whitby Goth Festival, Whitby Folk Week and the Whitby Regatta.

Great location, very close to the amazing beach and the Pavilion, crazy golf and pitch n put. The apartment was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. The Abbey can be seen from outside the apartment, on the opposite side of the harbour. Would definitely recommend to either families or couples. Great holiday.
