Reviews

The house lovely, it is in a great location for walking into the village. It is equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and showers are good. The open plan living works well upstairs. It rained a lot when we were there so we spent a lot more time there than we would normally do and it was very cozy. Ideal for the dogs too, access straight into the utility to dry off.

Mrs C,

The most stunning holiday home in the perfect location. Just a stones throw from the sea, a few local shops, pubs and restaurants. Every home comfort you can imagine and beautifully stylish.

Mrs H,

A beautifully appointed upside down house with careful attention to detail and spotlessly clean. Great location being 5 mins walking distance to harbour and with a bus stop outside which will take you to the lost gardens of Heligan and various locations along the coast.

Miss P,

This is a lovely property, well equipped, only 5 minutes from Mevagissey harbour. Nice touch of a bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival. Even when we had an issue the owner contacted us immediately and couldn’t have been more helpful in resolving it. Would happily recommend it. John B

Mr B,

A perfect stay, a really well equipped house, plenty of parking and outside space, and only a stones throw from the harbour, would definitely recommend it,

Mrs T,

A lovely property with excellent facilities. Everything that was described on the website was accurate. Warm and cosy with very comfortable furnishings. The perfect base to explore the towns and villages around Mevagissey. I would definitely recommend this property to other family and friends.

Mrs D,

Exceptional property set in a great location with beautiful views. So clean and well equipped. Owners where available if needed and very friendly. It was a home away from home even when it rained it didn't spoil our time and so good we booked again for early next year.

Mrs J,

Excellently located just a quick 5 minute walk into town. Well appointed and very spacious and all the equipment you could possibly need. Very comfortable and homely with a modern feel. Highly recommended

Mrs L,

Beautiful house, well equipped, comfortable and in a great location

Mrs W,

Superbly equipped and furnished with comfortable beds. Ideally located for access to the town.

Mr L,

Location

Located on the south coast, Mevagissey is a traditional Cornish fishing village complete with narrow streets and colourful boats in the picturesque harbour. The local fishing fleet has made the village famous for its seafood and accompanying restaurants. There are also many shops, galleries and pubs to sample too, as well as plenty of things to do including visiting the model railway, the aquarium and the beautiful ferry trip to nearby Fowey. The popular Lost Gardens of Heligan are only a couple of miles away from the village and the world famous Eden Project is only 10 miles. There are a few beaches in the area to explore as well as the South West Coast Path which wends its way around the cliffs and beaches of the whole county. In June every year, Mevagissey celebrates a week of music, dance and fun as part of the Feat Week, with a carnival and fireworks to round off the week.
