Reviews

The cottage is perfect for our needs. Love the duel aspect and sunny rooms . Open plan living area . Excellent bathroom and cosy bedroom . Plus loads of books and games .

Ms M,

We loved staying in this cottage. It has character and is very well equipped. Excellent selection of books and games too...we wished our stay had been long enough to enjoy them all!. The location is perfect - just far enough from the Harbour to be unaffected by noise but only a couple of minutes walk to the harbour, Porthgwidden beach and Porthmeor beach.(Also near enough to the town centre to walk back with the grandchildren to give them a bit of respite from the New Year's Eve revelry before taking them back to the harbour for the midnight fireworks

Mr B,

The property was nicer and cleaner than we expected from the photographs and very well equipped. The location of the property was fantastic, close to the beaches and the harbour. Original Cottages gave accurate and timely information about locating and entering the property. Original Cottages were also available to contact by phone if necessary.

Mr Stuart P,

Lovely quirky cottage in a great location. Nice light spacious sitting room. We had a good week. It was just a bit spoilt by a few things: particularly the torn curtains and mouldy windows in the bathroom which made it feel uncared for. There was no drainer on the draining board which was needed especially without a dishwasher. Also the tv channels are all topsy turvy. And there was no bedside table or lamp on one side of the bed.

Mrs C,

The position of the property was perfect in the Downalong area. Inside had everything and was cosy.
