Wide French doors lead onto one of the two courtyards, the perfect spot for relaxing with a coffee over breakfast and planning the days activities. The two bedroom accommodation has plenty of room for four guests, and would equally suit a family or two couples planning a holiday on the Suffolk coast. 

Turnstones is perfect for families or friends planning a holiday in Southwold. Spend days on the beach building sandcastles with the kids, take a stroll to the pier and people watch along the prom… this traditional seaside holiday hotspot is famous for its iconic lighthouse, pastel coloured beach huts and fabulously fresh seafood! The town has some excellent independent shops, cafes and restaurants, be sure to call in for a pint of the acclaimed Adnams beer in one of the nearby pubs.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is less than 500m away!

My husband and I have stayed at Turnstones at least six times during an autumn/winter break, occasionally with friends. It’s central to most areas such as shops, pubs and the beach. The ground floor apartment is well equipped and comfortable with a light airy feel and underfloor heating. There are two bedrooms a double and a twin and two bathrooms. There is everything that you need here. For spring/summer months there are 2 outdoor verandas to sit out and/or bbq. We’ll be back!
