Reviews

Perfect location for a family with children. Close to shops and beach!

Mr O,

It was our second visit to this property. As the weather was wet, it was difficult without a tumble dryer. Also the cooking roasting tins were not enough to cook for a family of ten and were of poor quality, I had to buy another tin and a saucepan..

Mrs Susan C,

Property was excellent value for money, situated a short distance from Coastal Path and perfect for a group of 7 over 60’s for walking weekend. Strong recommendation

Mr K,

The Tides is in a very good location being near to the sea and local shops. The quality of the beds and bedding is exceptional and the kitchen is well equipped with all you could need.

Mrs S,

A fabulous place to stay close to Sheringham town and beach. Comfortable and very well equipped. Easy parking in a car park just across the road if no spaces outside the house.

Dr P,

Had a wonderful Xmas break at The Tides, house was stunning and very well equipped. Have stayed in Sheringham the last 5 years at Xmas, and love the location. This was by far the best property we’ve stayed in, and have already booked again for next year.

Mrs D,

Location

Sheringham is an old fishing town, now a charming seaside destination that is an excellent location for a holiday in beautiful North Norfolk. The award-winning Blue Flag beach is of flint pebbles when the tide is high, giving way to a large expanse of smooth sand as the tide recedes. There is an assortment of shops, restaurants, tea rooms, a twice weekly market, plus a theatre and the excellent Sheringham golf course. The North Norfolk railway starts from Sheringham,  take a ride into nearby Holt, or Cromer and then onto Norwich. The coastal path leads from the town, and in each direction it climbs the cliffs from where the beautiful Norfolk landscape unfolds.
