Description
One of four attractive stone cottages at Marwood Farm in the heart of the mid Devon countryside. Tucked down a single track partly unmade lane in the tiny hamlet of Cove close to the Somerset border and on the edge of Exmoor National Park. The Cider Pound benefits from Eco friendly under floor heating combined with excellent facilities including a shared outdoor Hot Tub. The cottage overlooks the shared front garden and each cottage has an individual patio with garden furniture. An open plan living/dining/kitchen features floor to ceiling beams and wide expanse of glass doors and windows. Living area with Smart TV and DVD. Kitchen area with ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave, Air fryer, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. On the first floor are three attractive bedrooms. The master double room features an en-suite shower room. Bedroom two is a twin and bedroom three is a Double. A separate shower room serves these two bedrooms. The communal utility room provides washing machines and tumble dryer. The owner's home is adjacent to the cottages.

The cottage is on the fringe of Exmoor National Park with the pretty town of Bampton just 3 miles away with a good selection of shops pubs and restaurants. Bampton Fair is also one of the oldest Charter Fairs in the country held on the last Thursday of October. Exmoor National Park is accessible with plenty to see and do for walkers, cyclists and sightseers, whilst Tiverton is 6 miles to the south, offering a selection of attractions including the National Trust's Victorian country house Knightshayes, the River Exe and Grand Western Canal.
