Description

Situated in a convenient location in the heart of the Suffolk seaside town of Aldeburgh, Telford is the perfect place for your next family holiday. Well-equipped and comfortably furnished, this welcoming holiday home ensures your every need has been covered to offer the whole family a relaxing stay as soon as you enter. This generous, detached home benefits from ample parking and an unrivalled garden where you can put your feet up whilst the children safely run around on those summer days. Or why not enjoy the beautiful views of the garden from the comfort of the cosy sitting room, complete with log burning stove, in the winter months. A well-appointed kitchen allows you to socialise whilst cooking up a storm, though we wouldn’t blame you if you chose to return with some delicious Aldeburgh Fish’n’chips! Upstairs, three bright and comfortably furnished bedrooms await and offer the perfect space to recharge your batteries after busy days exploring the Suffolk coast. Upstairs is complete with family bathroom.

Wander down to the beach or high street, just a 5 minute stroll away and enjoy the array of unique independent shops or pack a picnic to enjoy on the pebble beach. The nearby children’s play park and tennis courts, just a matter of minutes away, are perfect for an afternoon of fun for the whole family. The younger members of the family will love a stroll to the model yacht pond where they can launch their own boat. The neighbouring village of Thorpeness lies just along the coast and you can choose to reach it by car, bike, or a scenic walk along the coastal path. Thorpeness offers hours of fun for the whole family with its Peter Pan inspired boating lake.

Your every need has been thought of at Telford. A truly family-friendly holiday home, you’ll find a wide selection of children’s equipment, books, and games meaning you can rest easy before you even arrive; so if you forget to pack something, it will likely be at Telford! For adults looking for a 'child-free' stay, all equipment is thoughtfully stored away making Telford great for family breaks or couples’ getaways. If you enjoy cycling, then this area of Suffolk offers some wonderful bicycle rides and better yet, there are two adult bicycles suitable for a casual ride which you are welcome to use or why not bring your own bicycles, by prior arrangement, which can be stored in the garden shed.

With so much to explore right on the doorstep, and pubs and shops a short stroll away, Telford offers the ideal base for your next Suffolk coastal getaway, whatever the time of year! Pub: 350 yards, Shop: 350 yards.

Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends.
