Reviews

Had a lovely few days here. Very clean, light and spacious. Excellent location for both the beach and the village.

Mrs D,

we had a wonderful time. perfect location to explore the Dunes and easy access to the beach. plenty of local restaurant's serving great food. The Thatch and Blue Groove were our particular favourites. The Beach Hut was very comfortable. the main open plan living room with patio doors and plenty of light through the conservatory style ceiling was very nice. wild life in abundance along with the awesome star gazing {no light pollution) Thank you.

Mr M,

Cottage had everything we needed very comfy location great will definitely be back

Mrs W,

Vey nice! Easy walking distance to the beach and very comfortable for a family of 4.

Mr P,

This was our second time at the Beach Hut. The location is excellent, close to the beach and also a short walk into the centre of Croyde. The Beach Hut has a lovely vibe, is comfortable and homely. On arrival it was clean and tidy, there is a good array of equipment including cooking utensils. The cooker is fairly old but perfectly useable to whip up simple meals. There was the usual tea, coffee etc on arrival and also a box of lovely fudge. However this is self catering so we did bring our own essentials as well. Last year there was a DVD which wasn’t present now, this did only leave basic TV channels for entertainment.

Mrs D,

The best thing about The Beach Hut is its close proximity to the beach and easy stroll to town. The chalet is bright and cheery, was fairly clean and has the basics. The dishwasher and electric towel rail were a bonus. There are no books or games - probably a hangover from the pandemic - so bring your own if you'd like these. The property is fully fenced and has a lovely private patio at the back, surrounded by greenery. It had outdoor chairs and low tables but no normal height table to eat outdoors (as was pictured). We are not a big family but the bath towels were on the teeny side. There is a small washing line but we brought a longer one, which was well used. We would look to book again if prices stayed the same/dropped - otherwise a staycation in Croyde is becoming almost as expensive as going abroad. Loved the colourful wall art.

Ms R,

Excellent location in a charming little cul de sac. Would stay again.
