Description

Situated on South Green in Southwold, this beautiful holiday home benefits from fantastic views of the sea all the way over to Walberswick. Being so close to the beach and with flexible sleeping accommodation across three bedrooms, it is the perfect place for either a family or group of friends looking for a quintessential seaside holiday. For the days when guests want to head a little further afield, they’ll find the pretty seaside village of Walberswick is just 8 miles away too. Both Southwold and Walberswick are home to a lovely array of cafes, restaurants and pubs - perfect for ordering a classic plate of fish and chips.

Inside, the property’s communal areas are spaced out over the first floor. Off the entrance is the sitting room with several comfortable sofas to kick back and relax. It has a TV, but all eyes will undoubtedly be on the stunning sea views. The dining room also benefits from the same sea views, but also has a balcony which is accessed via French doors meaning the room is flooded with light. The kitchen has everything guests need for an easy self-catering holiday, while a cloakroom with WC completes the first-floor accommodation. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, TV and en-suite. The second bedroom is a family room with a double bed and bunk beds. Finally, the third bedroom is a double with an en-suite shower room and WC. The second floor also has a shower room and a separate WC off the landing area.

For outdoor space, the balcony is small but perfectly formed. To really stretch your legs, the property’s proximity to one of Suffolk’s best beaches makes getting some fresh air easy. Lovely green spaces await too with wonderful walks on Southwold Common just moments away.

Southwold South Green Area - Properties here enjoy one of the best locations in town. From many of them you can look across South Green towards Gun Hill and the sea and the properties are within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The popular Red Lion Inn overlooking South Green is even closer. Secluded and peaceful, Southwold Denes is an ideal retreat for walkers and nature enthusiasts.
