Aldeburgh, home of the famous Aldeburgh Festival of Music, is a charming, historic seaside resort with many fine Georgian buildings. The town was a medieval fishing centre and fishermen still draw their boats onto the shingle beach to sell their catches. The area around Aldeburgh reflects the unspoilt nature of the Suffolk coast and only two miles along the shore is the unusual coastal village of Thorpeness, with its picturesque mere and excellent golf course. The town has a good selection of shops and eateries.

Reviews

This apartment is very well equipped and extremely compact. It has a nice PROPER shower, two POANG chairs, John Lewis cookware, a LARGE fridge and a separate LARGE freezer plus plenty of storage! It is next to the Brudenell Hotel so has a "Royal Tier" view of the New Year FIREWORKS! There's no sea view but this can be an advantage during the Winter storms! There's a shared washing machine in a directly adjoining room with plenty of hanging arrangements. iron and ironing board plus a vacuum cleaner IN this shared adjoining room. The bed is VERY comfortable!

Dr W,

Great position overlooking sea from patio and excellent location for Aldeburgh High St and beach. Apartment well equipped. Would benefit from a little refurbishment - regrout shower cubicle, new rugs and lose the sheepskin as this cannot be cleaned. Had a lovely weekend here great weather for October.

Mrs M,

We love being here. Small space but so cleverly designed and equipped that this is not a drawback. And being this close to the sea is wonderful.

Mrs D,

This is a great little place. Great location - we loved sitting on the patio, looking out to sea - very comfortable and well-equipped. Only minor grumble is that the property is a basement flat, therefore there is no sea view from inside! But this didn’t detract at all. We had a great time and would happily stay there again.

Previous Customer,

Such a beautiful flat with wonderful views, very comfy with every we needed

Miss Catherine G,

Lovely studio - did not appreciate from description that it was basement flat but after initial disappointment of no sea view - it was great x

Mrs Sue M,

My only criticism is the TV! It needs updating. The bed was to die for, fab location. Didn't want to leave.

Previous Customer,

Everything about this studio flat is perfect. So well designed.
