Reviews

Lovely property and garden. Quiet location. We would stay again.

Mrs D,

We really loved our stay at Meadow Lodge, the lodge was a beautiful spacious house, made very cosy when the log burner was on, all beds were very comfortable, we especially loved the kitchen/diner and spent a lot of time there eating food and playing games with the children.

Mrs S,

Beautiful house! So well equipped. Fab garden, great location! The Christmas tree was a lovely surprise. Idyllic for a getaway!

Mrs M,

First class property. Great location, very comfortable, spacious and well equipped.

mr G,

Wonderful house, peaceful location and all you need in a holiday home! A real gem of a find.

Mrs B,

We all had a lovely Christmas stay at Meadow Lodge in Ufford, Suffolk - all the furnishings and touches made it a real home from home experience, beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen and equipment including the utility room were excellent and the real Christmas Tree in the lounge and all the Christmas decorations, wood burner as well as the very welcoming bottle of fizz and Christmas Card from Costas and Caroline made our stay all the more enjoyable! It was truly lovely thank you :) I would like to say however that for the price we paid the upstairs was disappointing and let the property down as carpets had numerous stains and should be professionally cleaned, the upstairs bathroom and ensuite to the twin bedroom both also require upgrading as the taps are very old and worn and sadly not in keeping with the rest of the house which is gorgeous. There was a large amount of limescale on them as with the sinks and toilets - sanitary ware should all be changed as in sinks and toilets to both. This was disappointing and let the property down as I said given the price for the property, that these aspects have not been rectified as there are many comments to this effect in the visitors book since 2013 which have not been taken on board. We also had a problem with the large amount of leaves directly around the property, particularly at the back, I appreciate that there are a significant number of beautiful trees in the grounds to the property, but as the leaves were immediately outside the doors it was difficult keeping them there and not walking or them being blown in!! - Perhaps a gardener could be employed with a leaf blower to remove the leaves directly around the house once they have fallen in Autumn?

Mrs Debbie I,

A beautiful, well equipped house, even a xmas tree and decorations!
