Reviews

We were very comfortable in the cottage, and loved watching the birds on the feeders, and the deer and pheasants in the field. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to the coast and other places of interest.

Mrs B,

Beautiful location and property, well equipped and well maintained, very helpful owner and neighbour, close to some beautiful locations and walks, highly recommended

Mr D,

Our first time in Suffolk and this property was just perfect. Very comfortable, peaceful, gorgeous views, couldn't fault it. Will definitely be booking again

Mr P,

Loved the cottage & location. So peaceful. Not to far to all the places we love to visit such as Dunwich & Orford. Owners friendly & helpful. Wildlife in garden wonderful to watch. Plenty of different birds to see & loved watching the antics of baby rabbits in the garden. Hope to go back there again before too long.

Mr R W,

We've had a great week in the Retreat. It's in a great location for visiting the Suffolk coastline with great beaches which are mostly dog friendly. The surrounding fields have lovely trails for walking and the wildlife is fantastic. The Retreat has all you could wish for and we would happily return and the flowers and the eggs were a nice touch. Thank you.

Past Customer,

We've had a fantastic break here - thank you for such a comfortable and well appointed home. So cosy and comfy and the perfect location from which to explore both inland and coastal Suffolk. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we loved the walk into Peasenhall + breakfast at Weavers Tea room. Great pub food nearby (The White Horse at Sibton especially) and the most amazing walk at Dunwich, over beach and heath. We're already planning our next visit. Thank you!

Past Customer,

5th visit! Wonderful as usual. We will be back again, still loads to see! Thanks for the eggs -scrummy!

Past Customer,

An excellent stay at the Barn Owl retreat. The only negative was that there was no wi-fi available and this point was repeated multiple times from other guests who mentioned this in the comments book.
