Description

Schooners is a ground floor apartment located in the Bluestone Point building on the edge of Mortehoe Village. This area renowned for its rugged coastal paths and breathtaking scenery is a walker/cyclists paradise. The village of Mortehoe is only a short stroll from the apartment and offers a post office stores, two pubs -both serving food, tea rooms and Mortehoe museum full of interesting facts about the local area. Five steps lead up to the communal front entrance, but once inside this spacious apartment everything is on one level. The open plan living/kitchen/dining area offers a great space for families to get together whether you are preparing lunch or watching TV. Patio doors open onto the front balcony where distant sea views can be seen. The well equipped kitchen area has all you need for a home from home holiday experience, with a door out to the high walled fully enclosed patio area, great for storing surfboards or bikes. The two attractive bedrooms lead off the hallway, the master king size room has patio doors to the front balcony, as well as its own ensuite shower room with wc and basin. The twin room has access to the back walled patio area and shared use of the family bathroom with shower over the bath, wc and basin. As well as access to the beaches around Mortehoe including Rockham, Grunta and Barricane a short drive will bring you to the seaside town of Woolacombe with its vast expanse of sandy beach and rolling waves. Exmoor National Park is also a scenic drive away as are the picturesque twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, where you can enjoy shopping, cafes or just an ice cream!
