Reviews

It took us ages to find the right place for us. This was everything we needed!! Secluded, serene, quiet with adventures at every turn, the cottage is beautiful and very well looked after. Great host (have thought of everything and more xx fabulous stay in this beautiful cottage). We were so cosy and warm. Beautiful walks right from the doorstep. We know the area well but still loved exploring. Thank you very much, hope to return soon xxx Lovely stay , beautiful cottage, lovely walks Thank you One word STUNNING Thank you for a lovely stay

Past Customer,

Gorgeous cottage in a stunning location . The views are spectacular. The house is beautifully decorated and cared for. You can feel a lot of love went into its restoration. I have wanted to visit this coastline for a while now and it certainly didn't dissapoint. Robin Hood's Bay is like fairy tale village we totally fell in love with it. Whitby is wonderfully atmospheric, we wondered on the beaches and found that fossiling is addictive. Tea and cake at the Boggle Hole YHA is a must. Loved being able to walk straight out from the cottage.

Past Customer,

Arriving on Friday evening we missed the windmill and mast landmarks due to thick fog. Thankfully we found our way here, the next day we awoke to stunning views what a revelation! We had an amazing week here with such great guidance from Dave and Monika on where to visit. We will be back

Past Customer,

We have had a wonderful visit and loved our time in your beautiful cottage. The gardens are delightful swing at the top of the garden have been a real treat in the sun. Thank you David and Monika for being so warm and friendly hosts. Reuben says thank you for the fossils you left him on the door step.

Past Customer,

Been to the area many times but have to say this is the most tranquil place I have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautiful and super clean. Amazing views and fab hosts. Thank you both for being so accomodating. We will certainly be returning.

Past Customer,

The property is in a lovely quiet secluded area, with fabulous sea view. It had excellent equipment for both humans and their dogs, although we had taken our dogs own belongings. There was also a very large area for dogs to have a run around. We found this property to be extremely clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. I would also like to thank Ingrid Flutes Yorkshire Cottages for the excellent service they provided when dealing with our last minute changes to our booking. I would definitely recommend this company.

Mrs N,

Beautiful location, comfortable if quirky cottage, well equipped. Booking straightforward and effective pre-holiday advice (if perhaps too many emails!!)

Mr Russell J,

Outstanding location! the views are amazing. Well kept cottage. Loved the sitting room and kitchen. The cottage has all the 'home from home' facilities needed. Good quality bedding, pillows and towels. You can feel the love that has gone into making the cottage feel special for guests staying here thank you !

Past Customer,

Thank you for the most Memorable Holiday. the most perfect cottage in the most idyllic setting. Can't wait to visit again.

We have spent a wonderful week here at 2 BRowcote Cottage. The cottage is lovely and full of character, well equipped with beautiful decor and we managed to master the bathroom even with 2 teenage girls with us! David has been very helpful too. Thanks. The Weather has been pretty kind to us and we have had trips to Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes. Two very pretty fishing villages. We went to see the Naval battle reconstruction in Peasholm Park, Scarborough and took the NYMR steam train from Goathland to Whitby and back. While over the moors we went to The Horseshoe at Levisham for a fantastic meal - Well Recommended. IF you carry on down to the very end of this lane you can park at the bottom and walk down the steep steps to the beach (when the tide is out) And walk around to Boggle Hole and have a good lunch at the Youth Hostel-do get your tide timings right to walk back again. We also went up to aerial mast and on to the moor to watch a couple of sunsets. The Cottage is in such a fabulous position to enjoy the views from the garden and the summerhouse is an added bonus, the girls enjoyed sitting in the little look out post in the main bedroom. Thank you David your properties are amazing
