Scarborough
Scarborough is an all year round destination, with its busy fishing harbour and marina a hub of excitement whatever the weather. Scarborough Castle is set in a stunning location and offers visitors panoramic views over the dramatic coastline. The 2,500-year old building is a must see for anyone visiting the area, and a wonderful day out for everyone.
There's so much to see and do during the day in this lovely seaside town, but also plenty of places to relax and unwind in the evening, including many bars and eateries along the seafront.

Reviews

Lovely cottage, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fantastic location, with fantastic views.

Mrs D,

Lighthouse is a very good holiday home, great location, everything you need, your own space.

Mr B,

We stayed for 2 weeks and everything about the property was fabulous especially the outdoor area which is rare to find in holiday property’s in Scarborough. We will definitely be booking again if available and would recommend to anyone looking for a property in a great location!!

Mrs H,

We had a lovely time in Lighthouse cottage and in Scarborough. The cottage was so close to the sea front. Everything in Scarborough was walking distance, at least for us, the castle, the harbour, the beach, the Italian gardens, Peasholm Park, the shops. So many places for coffee and meals too. My 4 for comfort was that the single bed mattresses were uncomfortable and gave us both back ache by the end of the week. Also the stairs are a trial and though we coped they were something that reduced the comfort slightly. We suspected they would so used the twin room and our daughter had the top room. 4 for value was because if I'd booked two weeks later I'd have saved £100. 4 for booking is I just tend to look for the property where and when we want to go and for one I like rather than use of a particular catalogue. 5 for recommend OC. I don't recommend often. My family and friends have their own way of finding and booking their hols. And most could not afford to rent a cottage anyway

Mrs Abbie S,

excellent location and a lovely cottage. home from home.

Mrs P,

We had a lovely stay in your cottage, it had everything we needed and in a great location

Past Customer,

Was very impressed with the cottage, lovely home from home. I was born a 'bottom ender' so ideal location to explore all my childhood haunts

Ms N,

Lighthouse cottage is ideally placed to explore all of Scarborough. 2 mins to the front and harbour, 10 mins to castle or town, 10/15 mins over the hill to North bay. Interior is nicely done, well equipped and cozy, with great views from the top bedroom. Over 4 floors so not for the less mobile, no parking but plenty nearby in winter.

Mr Roger T,

Lovely property very cosy well equipped and excellent location for local facilities , beach and walks in the locality

Mrs H,

The price was a little to high and the parking was very poor after a long drive trying to find a parking spot not very clear
