Description

This outstanding Southwold holiday home offers stylish coastal living for six. Close to the lighthouse, shops and the beach with pretty garden and parking.

Rowan Villa is a large self catering property on the Suffolk coast. Interiors are beautiful, a fusion of period features and 21st century living,   decorated and styled with top brands such as Fired Earth, Smeg and Ian Mankin. Accommodation is over three floors: the relaxing sitting room is bright and spacious with a wide bay window and soft leather sofas around a Victorian feature fireplace. The open plan kitchen with a Belfast sink, Smeg fridge and a large farmhouse style table and chairs. Upstairs, the three coastal style bedrooms have stripped and are beautifully furnished - a welcome retreat after a busy day. Outside there’s a pretty enclosed front garden with a paved terrace and gravel areas, planted with fragrant rosemary bushes, a lovely spot to relax.

Rowan Villa certainly ticks all the boxes… not only does it have style but this self catering holiday home is in a great location, just down the road from Southwold’s iconic lighthouse, pastel coloured beach huts and historic pier. A great spot for a family seaside holiday something for everyone - build sandcastles on the beach, stroll around the stylish shops and stop off for coffee or perhaps follow one of the walking trails through the marshes and along the coast, the choice is yours.

Reviews

Rowan Villa has a great location just near the lighthouse with comfortable furnishings. Travel cot and high chair were good for our toddler. We enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the off street parking available at the property.

Mr T,

Five of us have just enjoyed an Easter break at Rowan Villa. Our first visit to Southwold. Comfortable accommodation and in a perfect position. The house has some lovely touches, just as seen in the photos. Parking is essential and here you can accommodate one car on site, with a second parked roadside. We would definitely book again.

Mrs R,

Nicely presented home. Loved the main bedroom, comfortable beds. We had to descale the showers. Garden furniture and the garden could be more inviting with higher standard of furniture and a larger patio. 6 of us could not sit outside comfortably.

Mrs D,

Lovely position for the beach and high street.

Mrs C,

We have returned to Rowan Villa a number of times. It is perfectly located in Southwold and has the benefit of a parking space. The Villa is really comfortable and has everything a family needs for an enjoyable holiday. Southwold itself is beautiful with a wonderful sandy beach and a whole range of shops and eateries.

Mr J,

The property is as described. Comfortable and well maintained family accommodation, perfecttly situated for beach and town. We liked the excellent information- eg how the oven works etc as well as places to viisit/ eat. Expensive but predictable given this was half term and Southwold such an ideal family place. Good to have private parking.

Dr June T,

Lovely comfortable house, very well situated for beach and town.

Ms H,

Rowan Villa was a lovely rental with a great location. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities we required for a wonderful break.
