Reviews

Lovely cottage, well equipped, a little stable to store the bikes, extremely quiet and peaceful.

Mr S,

The property was warm and comfortable on the whole. The large bed was very comfortable but the sofa in the lounge was not so comfortable. The log burner worked very well and most welcome on damp days. The kitchen lacked workspace and a freezer as in the description. The welcome pack was good. A small carton of fresh milk to make a cup of tea on arrival would have been appreciated.

Mrs C,

We had a lovely week staying at Rose Barn Cottage. It is well located in order to visit the Suffolk coast. It is very close to RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath and about equidistant between Southwold and Aldeburgh. The village has a pub within walking distance and there are small shops close by, Budgens on the A12 or the local shop in nearby Westleton or Yoxford. There is a Two Magpies bakery in Darsham (10 mins drive). The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed. The location is rural and is very quiet, as it is on the edge of the village. Parking is just outside the cottage and there is an area to sit round the back. We had bikes and were able to leave those in one of the sheds belonging to the farm. We appreciated the bag of goodies on arrival which included milk, crisps, jam, various sauces, tea and sugar. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend staying here.

Mrs H,

Beautiful high quality property, perfect location - highly recommended.

Ms Gail G,

Mr T,

Perfect location for us as we explored the area on our bicycles! Quiet lanes and tracks a-plenty. Cottage was beautifully appointed, quiet and peaceful. Spacious and stylish accommodation.

Mrs Claire P,

We have enjoyed the quiet and peaceful Suffolk countryside. We have found so many walks for the two dogs and visited Aldeburgh, Snape and Southwold. We have had a perfect weekend- Thank you

A perfect place for our first holiday as a family of four!

Past Customer,

We have had a wonderful time here at Rose Cottage. Extremely cosy with the log burner and very peaceful and perfect for visiting near by villages and the coast. First time away with our 4 1/2 month old working Coker spaniel who has had a wonderful time too. We have enjoyed a long walk along the beach from Dunwich to Walberswick finishing with a meal in The Ship. Also did a 5 mile walk from the Eels Foot finishing with a meal there. All in all, a lovely weekend away- Thank you
