Description

Doves Barn has been converted into a luxury property for two, offering a spacious interior and has been beautifully decorated throughout.  This beautiful pet-friendly property is set in the grounds of the owners house in the small village of Broad Oak with its own drive and private parking.  The open plan living area is modern and stylish with local artwork on the walls, a large comfy sofa in front of the wood burning stove and a spiral staircase to first floor bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped for preparing food, if you're not tempted to eat out at any one of the many pubs and restaurants in the area. There is plenty of walking in the Brede High Woods and beyond the village is the market town of Rye with its famous cobbled streets, antique shops, pubs and restaurants.  Local vineyards also make for a great day out.  The Sussex coastline is particularly stunning with seven miles of golden sand at Camber and fantastic dunes to explore.  Other places to visit close by are Battle, with its ruined Abbey and battlefields, Hastings and the famous house and gardens at Great Dixter in Northiam.

Reviews

Beautifully presented, all the things we needed without any clutter. Welcoming hosts, lovely location, very comfortable property. Lots to see and do in the area!

Mr J,

A beautiful property, great location and very welcoming owners. We certainly hope to return.

Mr P,

Beautiful cottage, in a lovely location, all the equipment you would need is catered for, comfortable bed. Smart tv we took our fire stick to plug in. Sarah had left a welcome pack, I have never seen so much. Milk, apple juice, crisps, eggs and bead( in the bread bin, which I never used didn’t know it was there) all local products. Local to historic places, easy to reach if you have a car.

Miss J,

Home from home, everything you need in a holiday cottage. Great location. Owner’s lovely. Would definitely recommend and go back.
