Description

This beautifully converted barn is one of three which overlook glorious open countryside.  The barn offers spacious accommodation for 6 people and is filled with light as the living area has large sliding glass doors which open out onto a stone paved terrace and panoramic views.  The barn is part of a 25 acre working farm where you will find various livestock in the adjoining fields and free ranging chickens wandering about.  The garden is fully fenced and there is also a secure dog enclosure. The village of Beckley is within walking distance or 5 minutes in the car, where you will find the local pub and village church and The Three Legs Brewing Company which produces small batch craft beers and opens on a Thurs/Fri/Sat evening. There is an excellent dining pub, The Red Lion at Brede and you can also go shopping at Jempsons Superstore only 3 miles away and well known for delicious local produce. The gorgeous medieval cinque port town of Rye is just 7 miles away, with its winding cobbled streets, artisan shops and fascinating smuggling history. Great Dixter gardens, Bodiam Castle and Tenterden are also close by for a great day out.  For the seaside, nearby Camber Sands is a must with miles of sandy beach backed by grassy dunes where you can go Kite surfing and buggying, or simply relax and enjoy the seascape. This property can be booked in conjunction with Medlars RH1155 and Waders RH1156 to sleep 14.  Please view Escheatlands RH1157     Shop: 3      Pub:  0.7         Coast:  9.2

Reviews

We spent four days at Reynards with two other couples, and had a really lovely time. The surroundings are beautiful - so quiet and peaceful - and the barn itself was spacious, cosy and really well maintained. So nice to have a holiday let with sufficient comfy chairs and kitchen equipment! There is so much to visit nearby and some wonderful places to eat and drink - we will definitely be back!

Mrs F,

This is great accommodation for a holiday with family and or friends that’s definitely dog friendly. Lovely spacious accommodation well equipped with very comfortable furniture and a well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable and both the shower rooms fitted out with large walk in showers with plenty of hot water. Facilities for a dog are really good. A large secure garden to the barn and a really large secure dog field more than large enough to burn off those zoomies! The hosts are very welcoming and we can recommend ordering some fresh meat from their farm. Our Christmas Turkey was lovely. Great location for exploring both countryside and coast.
