Reviews

We enjoyed a very pleasant few days at Forget-me-not Cottage in September. The property was spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. The hosts lived next door which was an added reassurance should we have needed any assistance. The property was easy to find, and well located not far from the sea. The warm welcome included milk in the fridge, a bottle of wine, chocolates and home-made lemon cake, all of which we enjoyed. We would highly recommend Forget-me-not to anyone looking for a peaceful break by the coast.

Previous Customer,

A very enjoyable stay here in Winchelsea Beach. Forget-Me-Not is comfortable and very well presented. Carol and Graham were the ideal hosts, the wine, chocolate, and the famous lemon cake were most welcome.Plenty of things to do in the local area, we only scratched the surface of places of interest and would definitely visit again. Many thanks

Previous Customer,

Dear Gil and Graham, thank you very much for your warm welcome and the delicious lemon cake. We`ve had a great time here and discovered a lot of interesting places. Our daughter fell in love with the dog!

Mrs Dorothea K,

We’ve has a great time despite the mixed weather. The cottage itself is great and had everything we needed. We recommend the Winchelsea Beach Café for breakfast and the large grassy area on the way to the beach if you have kids. Further afield we visited Winchelsea, Rye (including the cinema), Battle, Hastings, Camber Sands, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Dungeness – all very easy to get to. Would definitely recommend both the cottage and area to families with kids.

Gibson Family,

Why did it take us so long to find you and your delightful cottage? Thank you so much Graham and Carol for your hospitality, attention to every detail and thoughtful welcome pack. You have been perfect hosts! And Carol - your amazing lemon drizzle cake is the best we1`ve had! We`ve had such a perfect week. The weather has been a blessing and during our daily walks we`ve discovered parts of Winchelsea Beach that we didn`t know existed. We wish you both all the best for the future and your next exciting chapter!
