Reviews

Lovely location in Robin Hoods Bay. Dog friendly and plenty of space for a large family. Newly decorated and very clean inside.

Mrs D,

Had a lovely week, the cottage has provided all we needed, very pleased with our accomodation

Past Customer,

Julian and Julia Just a way big thank you what a cottage, everything one could need and so clean, and the bed if I could take it home I would have done best nights sleep I have had in ages

Past Customer,

Another wonderful week at Meadowcroft. As usual everything excellent> Looking forward to returning in April 2024! Thank you both xx

Past Customer,

Meadowcroft is a beautiful cottage , very spacious and well cared for and having two patios was a bonus! The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed and more! Very close to the beach , good eating places and shops! Will definitely return and would recommend Meadowcroft to others looking to stay at Robin Hoods Bay.

Mrs G,

We have been holidaying in the bay for many years, this was the best property we have been in. Everything you require and Absolutely spotless.

Mr L,

The cottage was perfect for the needs of three generations. Spacious and comfortable, easy to live in for the week. Tiny bit disappointed that the two outdoor spaces weren’t a little cleaner and more inviting.

Mrs Pamela D,

Very nice cottage but getting expensive so will have to be more of a considered purchase in the future. Usual holiday cottage kitchen gripes - not enough mug sized mugs or sensible sized glasses, no sharp knives (or sharpener) etc. Still an amazing cottage but like I said it's getting pricey.

Mr Niklas P,

Home from home We have really enjoyed our stay at Meadowcroft! Great access to the beach and shops. The car park space is an added bonus. The house is beautiful. We loved the character of the building plus the little nic naks. Kitchen is fab dishwasher was unexpected luxury. Very clean and spacious. I was surprised by how big the house was. Welcome gift very well received.

Past Customer,

Loved the house and its perfect location. Very clean and warm spacious and loved the ornaments. Welcome gifts were lovely

Mr Michael M,

Very efficient service and a lovely property.

Mr Graham W,

We had lovely time. Good pubs in walking distance, lovely clean well equipped house.

Mrs Losang B,

probably the. best presented holiday cottage that we have been to. Great family venue

Mr Robin H,

The cottage was excellent, perfect for what we wanted, we would definitely return, thank you ??

Mrs Gill H,

We loved Meadowcroft and it's location. The cottage had everything you need for a comfortable break and had plenty of space for our family . The parking permit was appreciated although quite tricky to get a space at times, although in the end we barely left Robin Hood's Bay as wanted to make the most of our time there!

Mrs Claire M,

Location

Robin Hoods Bay
One of the jewels in the crown of the North East coastline is the small fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay. Located five miles south of Whitby and 15 miles north of Scarborough, it is the perfect place for a self-catering holiday. Steeped in history this quaint village with its winding cobbled streets, dotted with cafes, pubs and shops it is well catered for visitors. It boasts a stunning beach at the foot of the bay which provides a paradise for family fun. Children will be entertained with plenty of rock pools to splash in and fossils to hunt, while adults can take in the breathtaking views of the cliffs which tell the enchanting history of the place.
