Description

This contemporary cottage in the heart of Padstow is going to wow it's guests with incredible harbour views and stylish interiors.  Pull open your windows and you will smell the salty air and the freshly baked bread from local bakeries.  Watch the boats bobbing in the water and when you are ready it's just a few steps to the harbour where you can munch on local ice cream and fish and chips, or dine out in one of the more exclusive eateries on your doorstep. Along with the many specialised seafood restaurants Padstow is famous for (including Rick Stein's and Prawn on the Lawn) recent additions include Barnaby’s or just over the estuary at Rock, Paul Ainsworth's 'The Mariners'. Definitely worth the short trip on the ferry to admire Padstow from a distance and watch the boats sail by.

Reviews

No hesitation recommending this cottage.

Mr H,

Such an excellent stay. Highly recommend this cosy cottage for a homely stay in the heart of Padstow. Owner has thought of everything you need such a well designed cottage to maximise space comfort for such a memorable stay. Definitely would rebook a stay there with no hesitation.

Ms P,

Your cottage was absolutely beautiful and it was such a lovely touch to have it decorated for Christmas. Thank you so much.

Mr R,

Fantastic cottage in prime location. Views of the harbour and the Xmas lights was just brilliant. This was our first visit to Mariners View but we are already planning our visit for next year. I would recommend the cottage to anyone, warm, very comfortable and very clean. Beds were soooo comfy. I parked in the Links Car Park which is a 5 minute walk up the steps, and a perfect place and at winter prices £8.75 for a week, a bargain. Thank you to the owners for such a superb cottage and thank you Cornish Horizons for a very simple booking process.

Mr S,

The property was excellent. The attention to detail was outstanding. The location was in the middle of everything with a view over the beautiful Padstow harbour. There was nothing that we did not like about the property.

Miss M,

Had a beautiful stay here for the October half term with my family. Plenty of space for 4 people and all of the things you bring with you for unsettled English holiday weather. The house was cozy and had everything you could need. It was a real home from home for our trip that was half a minute from the nearest shops, restaurants and pubs and close to the car park. We had a great view of the harbour too. I would absolutely stay here again.

Mr W,

Mariners view is perfectly located for everything Padstow has to offer. It's well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We had a fantastic week there and didn't want to leave.

Mr G,

This is a very stylish, modern and clean rental. It is located in the perfect spot and has a great view of the harbour. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need! We have rented this property several times now and will be back again soon.

Mrs G,

The cottage is in a great location. Beautiful view , the cottage had everything could need, and all of a very high standard.

Mr C,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
