Description
This substantial seaside holiday villa, set on the hillside with commanding views over Praa Sands Beach, is perfectly located for family holidays on the coast as well as for walkers wanting to explore the South West Coast Path directly from your front door. The glistening, white, expanse of sand backed by dunes is a delight and there is so much room to spread out, you'll be able to find your own quiet spot to enjoy. With a little path accessible down to the beach just outside the house, you can pack up your picnic and beach equipment leaving your car behind. This rugged corner of the south coast is very unspoiled and from here you can take day trips out to explore the Lizard Peninsula or pop to the north coast parking at St Erth and catch the train to St Ives.
Uplands is found slightly off the beaten track along a private lane and set across two levels with most rooms benefitting from far-reaching sea views. Open your windows and listen to the sound of the waves crashing on the shoreline. Enjoy a sundowner on the deck watching the sunset or on those stormy days, the sun room is the perfect spot to weather watch. Decorated in coastal hues and offering three bedrooms, two shower rooms, parking for two cars and two woodburners to provide that out-of-season comfort and cosiness, it's the perfect place all year round. The temperate climate in this part of Cornwall allows exotic plants to flourish and the seaside garden planting is a reflection of this.
Please note there are a large number of steps up to the property, and as such, the property is not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

Location
Praa Sands (pronounced Pray or Prah) is a village and beach located a few miles north of Porthleven and a few miles south of Marazion (home of St Michaels Mount). Famed for its fantastic waves and glorious mile-long sandy beach, it is a popular destination for visitors. With a beach café, golf club, village shop and pub, Praa Sands is the perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday. As well as its own brilliant white sands, there are also two neighbouring beaches; Rinsey Cove and Kenneggy Cove.
Praa Sands is situated between the Lizard Peninsula (the most southerly point in the UK) and the far west of Cornwall, making it easy to explore both of these stunning areas. Head west and explore St Michael’s Mount and Land’s End and experience the amazing art scene and fabulous food of St Ives. Or head south to the rugged Lizard Peninsula and walk the spectacular South West Coast Path. There are many idyllic little villages to explore in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
