Mr G,

The property was lovely and did not disappoint in any way The description of the property was good We had good communications throughout leading to a very smooth arrival and departure

Mrs Candice W,

Fabulous house in a fab location. The garden was enjoyed by all 9kids, grand kids, dog and adults) .Did not want for anything. Sorry to b e going, but reality calls.

Previous Customer,

Fabulous week in gorgeous house. Everything worked and everything was there, all helped by the beauty of Cornwall and the assistance of the weather-we had forgotten just how magical Cornwall is. Would happily recommend The Fish House, Fistral to anyone. Dreaming of the next time.

Previous Customer,

The house is simply amazing! It is in the perfect location, having previously stayed over at Fistral this is a far better location and much less busy! The house exceeded our expectations, as did the lovely garden and patio, a perfect family space, and our dog Levi loved it too. Croquet was a great game! BBQ a great addition! Beds were comfy, bathrooms great and house was clean. Kitchen/diner was our favourite space especially when blinds were up! The weather was beautiful the whole of our holiday. We are so sad to leave this house, views from rthe bedroom balcony were amazing. Thank you so much for the great welcome pack! The only suggestions I would make to allow this house to b e even better would be fans available for bedrooms during summer, games hut needs some TLC, Seems a bit forgotten compared to the house and garden, football table a bit broken and hut needs a clean/tidy up, blind on back/kitchen door. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back. PS You are lucky to own this beautiful property. - Perry family

Perry family,

A fab week in a great location. The house is beautiful, everything we need and more. Weather has been great and visited many places, our dog loved the garden and all the beaches. Had a lovely clifftop walk to Mawgan Porth. We will be back again next year, Thank you.

Previous Customer,

We have had a wonderful week here in your lovely house and garden. The house has been perfect for 7 of us and our 2 dogs who have loved running in the garden. The location is perfect and we have thoroughly enjoyed dog walks on Porth beach and many stops at Gwenna`s Teahouse. We will def be back. Thank you.

Previous Customer,

Thank you for a lovely place to stay. The house was fabulous, that had everything we needed and more. We travelled from Wales to visit the Cornwall countryside and beaches, A beautiful place.

The Bayliss family,

We absolutely loved this house, downstairs was perfect for the doggies with tiled flooring and wooden flooring throughout so it was easy for us to keep clean because everyday was a wet walk. The garden was fantastic and a lot bigger than I thought even after looking at the pictures and it is very well maintained, nothing was overgrown, it was kept very nice. We are the type of family that do like to cook on our staycations, the kitchen was so well equipped it had everything we needed for a full roast dinner on a Sunday and more! The beds are so comfy and the bathrooms are great too. I didn’t want to get out of the shower!! The location was perfect, close to the beaches, pubs and The Lusty Glaze cafe does the most delicious hot chocolate and chocolate fudge cake!

Miss T,

House and Garden beautiful excellent quality fittings throughout. Nice touch with tea coffee bread etc being left for arrival.

Mr Ian S,

We have rented many properties and the departure time has been mainly 10 a.m. We found the requirement to leave the property by 9 a.m. a holiday spoiler and left at a more leisurely time the day before the agreed departure date.

Mr Charles O,

Location

When many people think of Newquay, often their first impressions are of the lively night life the town has to offer, but Newquay has much more up its sleeve than just pubs and clubs. There are no less than 11 beaches along this part of the coast, most offering swathes of golden sand and plenty of family fun, and many, of course, are a mecca for the surfers who flock here all year round to ride the waves. A number of them are also dog friendly, so your best friend won't be left out either. From Newquay Harbour a wide variety of boat trips are available- whether you want to head out to sea for a fishing trip, try your hand at some of the water-sports on offer, or just take in the beautiful scenery, there will be something for everyone.  If you're lucky, you may even spot a seal popping its head above the water! A more sedate option is the Trenance Gardens and Leisure park, with its boating lake where you can hire rowing- or pedal-boats. Nearby there is also the renowned Newquay Zoo, and a riding stables, from which you can explore on horseback the Gannel estuary, one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty Cornwall has to offer. A little further down the coast, Perranporth offers much in the way of family entertainment. There are beaches, cafes and water sports galore, plenty of wildlife, and for the historically-minded visitor, you can see an Iron Age fort and a local museum. If your interests lean more towards the literary, this stretch of coastline is known to have inspired Winston Graham to write the Poldark novels.
