Reviews

Really good holiday home for all the family. Lots of child thought gone into the home. Plastic cups lots of games both inside and outside. Locks on doors all high. Ducks in bathroom just great thought. Outside is a little steep both front and back but not an issue but something to think about. Top bedroom lovely, fantastic en-suite. Bed ok but again a small issue. Would definitely visit this house again.

Mrs S,

One of the best holiday properties I've ever stayed in - and I've stayed in lots of them. We loved the blinds within the double glazing - very clever. Everything was well thought out. Masses of games/toys. It really was exceptional.

Ms G,

This property was in an excellent location and very well equipped

Mrs W,

What a great place to stay, so well equipped and the perfect location to explore Padstow and the surrounding areas. There was plenty of space for our party of 9 including a six month old baby. We really enjoyed staying in this fantastic house. We will be back!

Mrs L,

Heyl Sound was a perfect house for our family of seven adults and two babies, plenty of space, we never felt we were on top of each other. Parked the cars and walked everywhere in town. Padstow was a brilliant base for further explorations in Cornwall.

Mrs E,

This property was excellent….. didn’t need to use the car once we parked …. Lovely walks views and the most stocked kitchen ever ! Games and the lovely arrival little hamper ! Just perfect ! Thank you

Mr Colin Y,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
