Reviews

We've had a great time bodybording and even spotted a family of seals swimming nearby. Great food at The Cabin - can't wait to come back soon!

Past Customer,

We've had a wonderful two weeks, helped by the unseasonable weather! Very well equipped accomodation, it had everything we needed required. Loved Crackington Haven, we spent a lot of time on the beach. Who thought we would go home with a tan. Did lots of walking & we've not got gluts of steel.

Mrs G,

We stayed at Gunnedah Studio in the summer of 2022 and decided to return in 2023 to complete our mission. The property is well equipped and presented making a good base to return to from days out. Property details folder could do with an update as they are ambiguous and in some areas contradictory. Property was described albeit getting tired in some areas; for example the main door handle could do with being replaced as it is so worn! Overall, very pleased with the accommodation.

Mr S,

Location

Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Crackington Haven is a small coastal village on the North coast just West of Bude. Once a small harbour importing coal and limestone from Wales, which narrowly escaped industrial development in the 1800s, it is now a small unspoiled, almost secret, cove.  It is a great spot for surfing with the right conditions (lifeguarded during the summer holiday season). Visit in the spring to catch wild flowers and birdsong. Come in summer for bustling beach life.
Spend time exploring and relaxing on the beach which is pebbly at high tide; enjoy a paddle or catch a wave on your boogie board. There is a bistro cafe and a family pub The Coombe Barton Inn and nearby toilet facilities and a small outlet for beach items.
