Reviews

Well-equipped property with nice new kitchen, good location and sea-view. This is the second time we have been to Curlews and we will hopefully return in 2024! Thank you for a lovely holiday in Trevone!

Mrs R,

Lovely comfortable and well equipped property in a good location, not far from the beaches and the Coastal path. Welcome pack was very much appreciated after a long drive.

Mrs M,

Location

Trevone is another of those areas that become a favourite spot for many people once they discover it. With two beaches, one rocky, where you can spend hours exploring the rock pools, fishing net in hand, and one sandy, ideal for families and those who prefer to take it easy.  This part of the coast also has a natural tidal pool where you can swim at low tide. There is lots to explore and dramatic scenery from the clifftops, especially if you care to visit the famous Round Hole, where a section of cliff has collapsed to form a deep circular blow-hole. You can also see plenty of wildlife, particularly the numerous species of birds which nest on the cliffs and surrounding areas, including of course the herring gull being one of the commonest, but you may also spot cormorants, razorbills, kittiwakes and possibly, if you're lucky, the rare chough.  If you're a keen birdwatcher, why not bring your binoculars and see how many you can spot?  The village itself boasts a pub, village store, beach shop and cafe where you can enjoy delicious ice cream, a farm shop selling local produce, and even a tea room and art gallery with gift shop- what more could you ask for?
