Reviews

Spotlessly clean and comfortable, Tesco Superstore within 5 minutes walk for food shopping and padstow town 10-15 mins walk with the dog for pubs and restaurants, the dvd player and selection of dvds also a nice touch but I signed into my Netflix for most of my stay , All in all a lovely stay and look forward to returning .

Mr P,

Jane has thought of everything! This is our third time staying at Cowslip Cottage and never have been disappointed. I can highly recommend staying here.

Mrs G,

Excellent holiday cottage. Well equipped, comfy and spotlessly clean. A little out of town (which is what we expected). Very happy

Miss Estelle S,

Lovely comfortable house in great location, incredibly well-equipped with everything you could need. Highly recommend.

Mrs H,

Excellent holiday cottage. Well equipped, comfy and spotlessly clean. A little out of town (which is what we expected) so a little lower on location, otherwise a 5 across the board (plus being out of town afforded a double width parking space for our van). Very happy with our choice, would book again and would recommend.

Miss Estelle S,

This is our second time visiting Cowslip Cottage, that proves we were happy with the location and comfort of the property

Mrs D,

Lovely property, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Towels and bedding exceptional. Love the latch doors. Outdoor space small but enclosed with table chairs parasol and seat cushions which we used because weather was great.

Mrs B,

Well located for walk to Padstow village. Comfortable, warm & well equipped. Excellent communication throughout.

Mr B,

Mrs Patricia C,

Had an amazing week here! Rode on bikes on the Camel Trail and relaxed on the gorgeous beaches, only 10 min walk away.

Mr Stephen C,

Love Cowslip Cottage, had a very happy week in Padstow

Dr Sheila S,

Fantastic Cottage. Very homely and everything you could need. Will definitely be back.

Mrs Diane C,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
