Reviews

Lovely position in town, easy reach to stroll to the harbour and shops, parking is available and can be booked for the week at the harbour via parking app, we were off peak so parking was always easy. Cottage is well equipped with very comfortable rooms, an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs shower room WC very handy for families, also has a lovely little back garden.

Mr H,

Superbly kitted out, and super spacious for a large group, Alexandra House was fab. Excellent location and easy 2 min walk to Link Rd car park. We loved our time there, thank you again.

Ms I,

Excellent location, clean and well equipped. We had a lovely week stay over Easter.

Mrs F,

Thank you for a lovely time, everything was lovely!

Mrs K T,

A lovely week in an excellent well equipped holiday house!

Mr Judy P,

We loved our stay and would definitely recommend to friends.

Mrs Amy G,

We've had an amazing stay here in Padstow in a beautiful home. The house was absolutely perfect and we certainly were able to make the most of our time. We recommend the 7-8 mile circular walk from Padstow beach, past stepper point, Trevone Bay, arriving back near Prideaux Place!

Miss Ruth S,

A beautiful house right in the middle of Padstow. Excellent size bedrooms and living areas. Beautiful original features like hallway floor yet with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Great size garden an added bonus. We had an amazing stay with family. The open plan kitchen with sofa and dining table was the centre of the home when we were not in the garden. We are looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Mrs K,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
