Description

This stylish and modern house is the ideal base for a relaxing holiday.  Overlooking fields to the rear, it is tucked away in a quiet location only a mile from the centre of St Merryn village and a couple of miles from some of the best beaches in Cornwall. Furnished in a modern, contemporary style it is very well equipped with great electronic gadgets including three TVs boasting a 50" plasma screen. With ample parking and flexible accommodation, Atlantic Breeze is sure to please. It is only 3-4 miles from the historic and picturesque fishing port of Padstow. Nearby St Merryn village has several restaurants, takeaways, pubs (one of which is also owned by Rick Stein) and shops. Facilities on St Merryn Park include sports bar, bar serving food, shop and tennis courts (seasonal opening times may apply to all facilities).

Pets Welcome: Maximum 3, £25 per pet per week. Information about bringing your pet. 
Power and Heat:  Electricity and oil included in rent; hot water solar panels, oil fired boiler providing c.h. and additional hot water.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels will be provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Travel cot, stair gate, highchair provided, baby monitor and microwave bottle steriliser. Other equipment may be hired - see hire page.

A real home from home, so comfortable, clean, well equipped and tastefully furnished. Every little detail has been thought about. Great location, close to so many beaches, and the garden is a perfect sun trap to sit and have a drink after a day on the beach. Also great for the dog. Owners are lovely and easily available if needed. Atlantic Breeze is a real gem.

Atlantic Breeze is a lovely property. It feels very homely from the moment you pull up on the drive. The inside is so well laid out with 2 double bedrooms, 3 modern bath/shower rooms to choose from and a well equipped kitchen and dining room (with sofa) downstairs as well as a further twin bedroom and family lounge upstairs. All bedrooms had smart tv’s and downstairs also had a Sonos speaker you can connect to. Outside is a very comfortable patio table and chairs as well as a bbq set, rotary washing line, large fully fenced garden (which was perfect for our two Labs). The property is spotless. So well maintained and with everything you could need. The house is in a very quiet part of the St Merryn Holiday Village. We went in the September heatwave and slept with the windows open and didn’t hear a sound all night. All in all made for a very comfortable holiday. We didn’t want to leave and would happily return anytime.

Location

St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat.  Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors.  And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too!  There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
