Reviews

Perfect for a short stay, great location, very pleasant owners.

Mr W,

Very comfy lodge with good size rooms. Plenty of equipment, all you could need. Just a short walk away from all the shops. Would recommend the Molesworth Arms for a good meal and John's fish and chips takeaway in Goldsworthy Rd.

Mrs R,

Tremill Lodge was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was well equipped and nice and quiet! Very handy for a walk into the town for a drink or to catch a bus. Also a short drive from the Eden Project and many other places of interest. Mr and Mrs Parkin are very welcoming. Can’t recommend this enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Mr P,

Lovely and cosy lodge, very peaceful location. Town in walking distance, with all the shops you would need. Central to Port Isaac and Padstow. Looe a little drive on. All beautiful areas to visit. We had a mini break here, but would most definitely come back for longer, 2 weeks if possible!

Past Customer,

Such a wonderful little lodge. A great location with many surrounding areas easily accessible. We will definitely be back again in future!

Mrs W,

A comfortable property, Ideal location and friendly owners. We enjoyed the stay at Tremill Lodge. Thank you.

Mr E,

Tremill Lodge is ideally located for Wadebridge town centre, where there is a cinema, a big Co-op, some interesting shops, and many places to eat - all within easy walking distance. It is also a good base for trips to the coast. It is quiet, and well equipped, and also warm, as we were there over Christmas week, which we celebrated with family who live nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Mr B,

Location

The former market town of Wadebridge is another often-overlooked location, but is a great base for exploring many areas of Cornwall.  The Camel Trail links it with Padstow and Bodmin, and it is also close to villages such as Polzeath and Rock. Wadebridge itself is a lively town boasting many amenities including a cinema, several local pubs which offer live music and good atmospheres, and a unique mix of local shops and businesses which make it stand out from many other small towns. The town's position on the Camel Estuary also makes it a good prospect for water-sports such as water-skiing, canoeing and sailing. Another talking point is the town's recently-acquired status as one of the country's foremost 'eco-towns' -many local people are advocates of renewable energy such as wind and solar power.  This is largely down to the work of the Wadebridge Renewable Energy Network, whose aim is to make the town the first in Britain to be fully powered by renewable energy. Plenty of events take place in Wadebridge and surrounding area throughout the year, including the Royal Cornwall Show, and the popular Wadebridge Folk Festival.  There is also a beer festival in June, and The Big Lunch, a street party organised by the town's residents.
