Reviews

Had a wonderful stay. Views to die for. House was so clean and tidy and everything we needed was there. Thank you.

Mrs Joan S,

What a fantastic house and views. Everything was spot on and was worth every penny. Will hope to get back soon. 1st time for us in Cornwall, we just love it.

Mrs Sara W,

Thanks for another fantastic 2 weeks holiday stay here. NQY and the surrounding area have simply become our favourite holiday destination.

Ms Anne-Kristin B,

Thank you for an amazing holiday, the "holiday house" is just perfect, it had everything we needed and we loved the extra little touches, thanks so much! We will be back.

Mrs Laura P,

What a lovely apartment, as you would say "Home from Home". Very clean on arrival, has everything we needed. Comfy bed, powerful shower-warm and cosy. Extra touches-milk, tea and wine. Thank you so much. All the communication before we arrived was really helpful. That view :) and sunset/sunrise-never gets boring!

Mrs Charlotte S,

This is our 6th year in a row staying at Fiddlers Green and we still love it! Highlights for us are-body boarding, surfing, evening walks on Fistral, Sea Spray and Fern Pit café for brunch with views and Crantock for crabbing, but it's always great coming back to the pool too!

Mrs Sarah G,

I have never stayed in a property so well equipped, everything we needed was provided plus some lovely little extras. The location was perfect, the views were to die for and the shared pool was a real hit with my boys! Thank you!

Past Customer,

Highly recommend the holiday let we stayed here for a week at the end of June we loved it so much good for parking and swimming pool was clean great location to get to and from places I cannot wait to return next year ..

Mrs W,

Location

When many people think of Newquay, often their first impressions are of the lively night life the town has to offer, but Newquay has much more up its sleeve than just pubs and clubs. There are no less than 11 beaches along this part of the coast, most offering swathes of golden sand and plenty of family fun, and many, of course, are a mecca for the surfers who flock here all year round to ride the waves. A number of them are also dog friendly, so your best friend won't be left out either. From Newquay Harbour a wide variety of boat trips are available- whether you want to head out to sea for a fishing trip, try your hand at some of the water-sports on offer, or just take in the beautiful scenery, there will be something for everyone.  If you're lucky, you may even spot a seal popping its head above the water! A more sedate option is the Trenance Gardens and Leisure park, with its boating lake where you can hire rowing- or pedal-boats. Nearby there is also the renowned Newquay Zoo, and a riding stables, from which you can explore on horseback the Gannel estuary, one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty Cornwall has to offer. A little further down the coast, Perranporth offers much in the way of family entertainment. There are beaches, cafes and water sports galore, plenty of wildlife, and for the historically-minded visitor, you can see an Iron Age fort and a local museum. If your interests lean more towards the literary, this stretch of coastline is known to have inspired Winston Graham to write the Poldark novels.
