Reviews

Outstanding apartment with the best views of Padstow estuary and rock plus reserved parking. Highly recommended and will return.

Mrs F,

Some warning should be given of the distance from the garage to the house, on a steeply sloping path with a couple of sets of steps. Not being in the first flush of youth, we found unloading and loading our luggage for the week, to be arduous. Otherwise, the apartment is excellent in every way and the views across the estuary were wonderful. It was a bonus to have the car garaged.

Mr R,

I have stayed at 2 Pentyre House many times now and can honestly say it’s always a joy to stay there. It’s always clean and tidy and a very comfortable apartment. The parking is great and you’re literally a stroll from the town centre. A superb place to stay....with the most beautiful view. You can wake in the morning and watch the estuary change as the tides do....it’s outstanding.

Mr W,

We spent our second year at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it, the property is spotlessly clean, equipped beyond belief and positioned perfectly to explore Padstow and the wonderful restaurants available in this Beautiful part of Cornwall, we will return, Thank you.

Mr C,

This Apartment was beautiful and really clean. Slept so well every night as the bed is super comfy. If you didn’t want to eat out you have everything in the apartment for self catering. Loved the walk in wardrobe so all your clothes and cases could be kept out of the way. Very central location for Padstow, with walks in all directions. We would definitely stay here again.

Mr Darren B,

Excellent property and location

Mr Roger G,

Both places we stayed were exactly as described. Can't do better!

Mrs Beverly U,

Another visit to this beautiful apartment. We love it and have already booked for next year.

Mrs Vicki P,

Another visit to this beautiful apartment. We love it and have already booked for next year.

Mrs Vicki P,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
