Reviews

Great apartment with superb views.

Mrs W,

No. 1 Pentyre House is a lovely, spacious and very well equipped ground floor apartment. It has super views across the Camel estuary and beyond. It is only a very short walk from Padstow harbour with a variety of places to eat out and also gift shops, bakeries and art galleries. For those who enjoy walking there is an excellent coastal path and also the Camel trail to Wadebridge and further to Bodmin. It is mostly a level path and can be cycled ( bicycles available for hire locally). Padstow is ideally situated for trips further afield, during our stay we visited Bodmin Moor, Tintagel, Carbis Bay and Falmouth, we also had a boat trip from Padstow harbour on the Jubilee Queen. Pentyre House Apartments was the perfect base for us to achieve everything we had planned for our holiday in Cornwall.

Mrs B,

Beautiful apartment with great views over the estuary. Very close to the town centre and a easy walk

Mr T,

Great location and good accommodation, already booked for next year

Miss M,

The close proximity to the centre of Padstow, with it’s own car parking spaces, excellent accommodation and amenities, make Pentyre House a very attractive option for self caterers on holiday.

Mr Allan B,

Everything was perfect. The apartment was well equipped had a beautiful outlook and was in an ideal location.

Mrs Suzanne G,

As I have mobility issues, carrying my luggage from the car to the apartment was a little difficult. The apartment itself however, was magnificent. Everything I could possibly have wanted, was available. Beautifully appointed with the perfect location and superb views. Thank you for a truly wonderful vacation.

Mr Kevin A,

Second new year here absolutely love it!

Mrs Kim P,

We had an amazing time. Thank you for the presents of biscuits and wine much appreciated. The house was all we expected and more. We made it our home from home for a week. Every thing was perfect. Thank you and hope to stay with you soon With our love and Happy New year Pam and Phil X xxxx ??

Ms Pamela E,

Location is good. Lovely view of the river. We thought that some scatter cushions on the sofas would add extra comfort, so we used the ones on the bed. No complaints at all.

Mrs Jan G,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
