Description

This delightful, cosy bungalow is located in a quiet close on St Merryn Park.  Facilities on site include sports bar, bar serving food, shop, tennis courts and children's play area (seasonal opening times may apply to all facilities).  The park is only two miles from the beach; one of a number along this stretch of coast much loved by families and surfers alike. For the more active, surfing equipment is available to buy or hire in the village of St Merryn.  When you come home in the evening from the many wonderful attractions this area of Cornwall has to offer, you are within easy walking distance of the nearby Maribou Park and also, across the road, Atlantic Bays, at both of which you will be welcome for a drink or a meal.  The picturesque town of Padstow having shops, restaurants and galleries is just three miles. Bikes may be hired in Padstow to allow you to explore the Camel estuary, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, by following the off-road route of the old railway line between Padstow and Bodmin. However, even closer to home, the village of St Merryn has pubs, restaurants, takeaways and food stores so your everyday needs are catered for within a mile or so. Reviews

Beautiful place the only improvement I could think of would be some outdoor lighting other than that it was perfect

Mrs W,

We had a lovely stay very comfortable and really good entertainment on site.

Mr C,

Location

St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat.  Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors.  And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too!  There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
