Description

This cosy little cottage for two is found in the Cornish village of Gweek which sits at the head of the Helford River, about 3.5 miles from the market town of Helston. An ideal spot from which to explore the glorious Lizard Peninsula with its many quaint fishing villages clustered around picturesque harbours and creeks. It is a stunningly beautiful area at any time of the year and as a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is so much to discover here.

Old Mill Cottage is stylishly finished and situated close to the centre of the village with a good pub 5 minutes walk away and the Cornish Seal Sanctuary is close by. Trebah Gardens near Falmouth is well worth a visit and be sure to take a trip to Kynance Cove to marvel at the glorious views from the cliff-tops on the walk down.

GROUND FLOOR:
Kitchen: Electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine.
Living/Dining Room: LED internet enabled TV, dining table and chairs, Bookshelf with books and games. French doors to terrace.
Bedroom: 6' Super King bed, bedside unit, chest of drawers, Peg board to hang clothes, Clothes airer and Iron/Ironing board.
Bathroom: Shower cubicle with electric shower, basin, WC. 

GARDEN & PARKING: Five steps lead to a small, paved patio with table/chair set. Private parking is available for 2 cars and is located 20 meters away at the bottom of the drive for Old Mill Farm next door.  

Pets Welcome: Up to two dogs are welcome. £25 per week per pet
Power and Heat: Electricity and heating included in the rent, underfloor heating in kitchen and bathroom.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Shop: 0.3 ml Pub: 0.3 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. Suitable for adults only. Wi-Fi available. Mobile phone coverage varies.

We had a wonderful time at Old Mill Cottage. The little garden was wonderful, lots of beautiful hydragea and really private. Maddie was really helpful when we had problems with the WiFi and she did literally everything that so that we could get access to the internet. We can only recommend this lovely cottage: the location, a great bed and really fluffy towels. Gweek is a great place to start excursions to lots of interesting places in Cornwall - the Lizard, St. Ives, St. Michael's Mount and the coast in general. Thank you very much!
