Description

The Nest, a converted fisherman's cottage, overlooks St James Green in a quiet residential area yet close to the centre of Southwold.  It has been lovingly refurbished to a high and stylish standard.  From the cosy sitting room and the light and airy bedroom there are wonderful views of the sea less than 100 yds away. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind throughout the year with every modern convenience to hand. Shop: 50 yards (corner shop) or 200 yards Pub: 50 yards.

FIRST FLOOR
Sitting Room: Smart TV, radio, coal effect electric fire, table and chairs, a good library of books and maps.
Kitchen Area: Electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge freezer, nespresso machine, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer. 
Bathroom: Double-ended bath, handheld shower, washbasin and wc, heated towel rail.

Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over fifty years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

I really enjoyed my holiday in 'The Nest'. It's as nice as any I've stayed in Southwold over the years . Cosy and compact, in a great position with a lovely views from the living room and bedroom. Close to the shops but quiet, the sea right on your door step, and a few minutes walk along the lovely seafront to the pier. Didn't use the car once during my stay. Will book again.

Lovely property in an ideal location, would certainly recommend it. Very clean with everything included that's needed for a pleasant stay. Although it's fantastically convenient for beach, pubs, shops and sights, it remains very quiet and peaceful.

A lovely well furnished cottage , perfect for a couple, and in a fantastic location. There was everything you need and more. A small carton of milk, sugar sachets and some biscuits on arrival was nice. Really good WiFi and a selection of books if you like to read.

The Nest is a lovely little cottage in Southwold. Very close to the beach, town and the pub! It is perfect for a couple with or without a dog. It is well equipped and comfortable and we wouldn't hesitate returning to stay there again.
