The clubhouse is open to the general public and serves excellent food.  Across the road from the clubhouse is Talkin Tarn Country Park where you can hire a rowing boat or take a relaxing circular walk around the tarn, then reward yourself with a cup of tea and a slice of cake.  An extra bonus while staying at Tottergill Farm Cottages is complimentary access to a leisure club at a local hotel 10 miles away.
