Reviews

This cottage is perfect for a small group or a family, the garden is fantastic to look at through the expanse of glass in the open plan living area, a beautifully designed and well thought out retreat, we would love to return at some point

Mr D,

The most amazing house we have booked! Would highly recommend

Mr W,

Great open plan living area with huge glazed patio doors

Mr S,

A beautiful and well equipped property which has been finished to a very high spec. We found the beds really comfy and it was really quiet which ensured a good nights sleep. Ideally situated for walking to Llanbedrog beach and a lovely art gallery and cafe.

Mrs S,

Excellent property, so beautifully decorated, well equipped, comfortable, clean and tidy. This is our second visit and we were not disappointed, the place is so well thought out and really comfortable sofas. Large bathrooms, great powerful showers. Large TV great for watching films in the evening. Quiet location which is what we wanted. We went on a lot of walks in the area, on the headland and over to Abersoch which is so close with restaurants, shops and fab beach. Getting to the local beach is under 10mins mostly off the road, our dog loves it (with a National Trust car park if easier to drive). Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. Helpful info from Original Cottages too in good time etc.

Dr D,

Nant Awel is a superb house. It’s beautifully appointed. The decor, furnishings and artwork are outstanding. We loved spending time in the house. It was so good to come back to a lovely warm house at the end of the day. We loved the log burner, the comfy sofas and the ambiance. The kitchen is well equipped. The fridge is a generous size. We had no issues working out how to use the TV. The gardens are lovely although we didn’t spend any time sitting there given it was November! Generous parking area too. The beach is easily accessible down a few paths in about 10 minutes walk. There’s a local shop and several pubs in walking distance too. We loved this place and hope to be back in the future. Highly recommended.

Ms P,

Generally the property was very very good. However there were some issues. 1) the left hand blind to the full height windows was stuck down when we arrived and remained stuck down for the duration of the visit. 2) the TV didn't work properly, with none of the channels available aside from streaming channels because the trees in the neighbouring garden were blocking the satellite dish. This can't have been a new issue as trees don't grow that quickly. I do expect some level of reimbursement for this. 3) I mailed you on the day of our arrival about this and heard nothing back. Text messages to the owner saw attempts to fix it but no positive results.

Mr Steve A,

This was our second stay at Nant Awel. Amazing location near one of our favourite beaches. The house has everything you could ever need and is well equipped. The furnishings and style of the house are amazing and it is all to a high standard.

Mr R,

Extremely pleased with the property. I would like to say that twice now I have contacted you regarding items at the property rented only to be given incorrect information on both occasions-both relating to the property having a bbq. Been informed twice now there isn’t one at the property in question when there was, keeping better information on each property would be useful to customers

Mrs Caroline G,

It's too soon to decide if we want another cottage holiday. Everything in the cottage was excellent. I did get in touch with you prior to our holiday to ask if there was a bbq at the cottage. You replied that there was no bbq. In fact there was a charcoal burning one which we used.
