Description

Meadow Cabin is a timber framed building and is an ideal for a holiday for two guests situated in a rural setting of fields. The property is all on one level inside and may be accessible for a wheelchair making it very flexible for guests. Meadow Cabin is situated within the owner's grounds and provides accommodation for those who are looking for a quiet setting yet only a fifteen minute drive to Southwold and only two miles to the nearest village of Wrentham. Guests have the benefit of their own parking area along with small garden. A great bolt hole to explore the area! Shop: 2 miles Pub: 2.5 miles.

Open Plan Room with Sitting Area: TV, DVD. Dining Area: Table and chairs. Kitchen Area: Electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box, washer dryer.
Bedroom: King size bed.
Shower Room: Walk in shower, washbasin and wc.

Garden: Small private garden area.
Parking: Allocated parking space.
Heating: Underfloor heating.
Notes: Wi-Fi and towels provided. Although the property may be suitable for wheelchair users there are no special adaptations.

The village of Henstead provides easy access to the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The village has two pubs and is within a short drive from the market town of Beccles. Other close attractions are Southwold, Oulton Broad and Covehithe. The fine city of Norwich with its cathedral and castle is only forty minutes away. There are many good pubs, restaurants, shops, lovely walks, bird watching at Minsmere, fishing, boat hire and trips, all but a short drive away. An ideal base to discover and explore this beautiful area.

The Meadow Cabin is probably the best self catered place we have used in our many UK holidays. The equipment, utensils etc covered all requirements. The owner is a very friendly gentleman and easy to talk with. This holiday “cabin” is definitely a place to return to.

Although not disabled ourselves, this neat, purpose-built property has been designed to accommodate those with mobility problems, whilst remaining exceedingly comfortable and warm. The flowers, biscuits and milk provided are a very welcoming touch.

Meadow Cabin was more than we hoped for. The high standard of decor, cleanliness and comfort is always something we want on holiday. The location was superb. To wake up to the dawn chorus and to watch the wildlife from the dining table was amazing. The cabin is ideally situated to reach a number of interesting places; in fact there were too many to pull in during our week's stay.
