Description
Catalonia-Mia is a lovely ground floor apartment located on the Porthminster side of St Ives, it is just a stroll down to the golden, sandy beach. The apartment benefits from a sea view across St Ives Bay and is comfortably furnished and equipped. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms and there is the advantage of an allocated parking space. A great destination for couples, friends and families to enjoy all the popular seaside town of St Ives has to offer.
From the parking area there is just one step to the apartment hallway.
Living/Kitchen and Dining area: The light and airy space has comfy sofas a TV/DVD player and music system. The Kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. This room also has French doors which open onto a Juliet balcony from which to admire the view.
Bedroom 1: With a double bed (4ft 6"), wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside units, plus a TV/DVD player. En suite shower room with shower cubicle, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Bedroom 2: This twin bedroom has two single (3ft) beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom: A good size bathroom with a shower over the bath, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. There is also a utility cupboard housing the washer/dryer.
Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity and gas included in rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Not provided but may be hired.
Shop: 0.2 ml Pub: 0.2 ml
NOTES: No smoking, no pets. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies. Parking for 1 car to the rear of property in the communal parking area (1.8 metres wide approximately).
Location
St Ives is one of Cornwall's top destinations and a beautiful seaside town where visitors can enjoy a traditional beach holiday with a twist. It's easy to understand why the town has been attracting painters, sculptors and ceramists for decades with its stunning scenery and natural quality of light- one of only four Tate Galleries in the world is located here in the heart of the town. The town itself arcs around the working harbour- the heart of the historic fishing community. You could lose yourself for hours in the charming cobbled streets which are crammed with gift and craft shops, art galleries, top notch restaurants and welcoming local pubs- a real treasure trove just waiting to be explored!
St Ives also has four fabulous beaches, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour beach and Porthminster which between them offer miles of golden sand and hours of building sand castles, playing in the rock pools and other family friendly activities. Dogs are welcomed out of season. Throughout the year, St Ives has a busy event calendar including the St Ives Food & Drink Festival in May and a Music & Arts Festival in September.
