Reviews

Superbly appointed apartment overlooking Looe River. Furnishings were first class, with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Plenty cooking utensils, crockery, glasses with a good quality oven and hob. Fridge Freezer, washing machine and dishwasher including a cupboard full of detergents and cleaners etc. Good beds and bedding. Plenty towels and soaps. There is no doubt this is an apartment you can consider a home from home. Well located in the town which has a number of nice shops and numerous restaurants and coffee shops. A great place to locate yourself for a week if you want to explore this lovely part of Cornwall.

Mrs L,

We have stayed twice in this apartment and cannot fault it.The apartment building is run so efficiently -lights coming on automatically where the cars are parked for example. It's like having your own personal lift.

We had an amazing week at this property, it’s a very high standard apartment in a great location and the secure parking space was a huge bonus. The apartment was spotless, very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return!

Mrs E,

Location

The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach.  Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.

There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you.  You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!

If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.  Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.

Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
