Reviews

Lovely apartment with everything we could have needed during our stay. Great position in town and very close to reserved car parking.

Mrs A,

The property was is in an amazing location with the added bonus of parking close to the beach and apartment. Everything was in walking distance for evening entertainment/food. The rooftop terrace was amazing for watching the sunset whilst enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for a week's holiday. We will definitely be back.

Mr B,

We stayed a couple of years ago and felt the rental price had gone up rather a lot . Saying that it’s a delightful property and so clean. We also felt the lovely roof terrace would benefit from maybe a bench that you didn’t have to keep putting away , as it’s a bit of a chore . We’d had a long drive and an earlier Check-in would have been appreciated. Maybe a quick text to let guests know if the property is ready for their arrival would be an ide ??

Mrs Sue S,

Lovely cosy apartment in a great location. Well equipped and very comfortable and warm - it was very cold outside when we visited! Comfortable sofa and large TV - often overlooked in holiday cottages but very important! Good to have allocated parking also. No negatives!!

Miss S,

Location

The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach.  Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.

There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you.  You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!

If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.  Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.

Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
