Reviews

Lovely place to stay with an amazing view and helpful owner.

Mrs E,

A really lovely house that is great for a large family to stay in. The views are spectacular and we spent breakfast time and evenings enjoying looking out. The bedrooms are spacious and it was great that they were all en-suite.

Mrs M,

Wonderful property with fantastic views and high standard of cleanliness and comfort . Excellent communication from the owner with advice and help to enjoy Looe, A great Christmas and New Year break - thank you

Mr K,

Location

The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach.  Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.

There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you.  You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!

If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.  Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.

Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
